Fully Guided The Kodiak Brown Bear and Ducks and more Ducks Kodiak Brown Bear are the world's largest carnivore due to the almost unlimited volume of salmon to feed on and have long had the respect of seasoned international hunters. There are high volumes of large Kodiak Brown Bear throughout Afognak Island's lush habitat "Fair Chase" is the hunting-style throughout Alaska so hunters need to be in good shape for a confident advantage. We do use warm comfortable cabin-cruisers to spot a large portion of the wildlife so those hunters who aren't as rugged as they once were also do very well on our hunts. Colorado Whitetail and Mule Deer Hunts Our guided Colorado deer hunts are done along the Arkansas River near Lamar, Colorado. Our property has high populations of whitetails, it's normal to see 15 to 25 deer a day. Bucks are generally in the 120-150 range with bigger ones around. We took a 158" typical Whitetail here in 2009 but in Lamar that's about as big as they get. These You can draw the license most years without a preference point. This hunt is in Game unit 127 but book before applying for any license as there are special hunt codes available. We also have Guided Mule Deer hunts available now in game unit 127 as well. There was a Mule Deer taken that came in just under 200" in 2010 on this ranch. We also have an unguided, trespass fee property that we allow 4 hunters on per season for a reasonable price per hunter. This hunt will allow you to use 2 to 3 exclusive stands for 7 to 9 days, if you're not seeing any Deer we'll move you to a new location. This property is also located in game management unit 127/132. Elk Hunts-We provide excellent elk hunting in both units 75 and 741. The areas we hunt south west of Durango are located directly between the 3rd and 4th largest Elk herds in the state, those being the San Juan herd and the Disappointment herd respectfully. Mule Deer Hunts-The majority of our mule deer hunting takes place in Unit 741 on our private land encompassing approximately 15,000 acres. Black Bear Hunts-Fall bear season, both rifle and archery, runs nearly the entire month of September while the bears are spending most all of their time feeding on acorns and berries, getting fat for the upcoming winter. While bear tags can be obtained during the later big game rifle seasons, you must already have a license for either Elk or Mule deer. Southeast Iowa, Zone 5 was once a well kept secret is rapidly becoming recognized as one of the premiere trophy whitetail deer hunting areas anywhere. Turkeys are also plentiful. This outfitter grew up hunting this area’s rolling hills, creek bottoms, hardwoods, marshes and farm fields and currently has access to over 9,000 private acres of prime hunting habitat. This isn’t a high volume commercial operation, because he believes that large numbers of hunters and quality hunting just don’t mix. Trophy whitetails especially, simply won’t take that kind of pressure. The Iowa property is managed for quality deer and a $500 harvest fee will be charged for any buck taken that scores 135 gross Pope & Young points or less. We're simply trying to maintain the quality of the bucks and our buck-to-doe ratio. We have property in both Iowa and Missouri to hunt. Hunt the famous Iowa one of the leaders for big whitetail bucks. For big deer Soybeans, Corn and alfalfa is important but more so is cover, woodlots. Not just as thermo cover but escape cover so they can get 4 year and 4 seasons under their belts to begin showing their mature buck rack genes. We have outfitters in most zones so a location to hunt is not a problem. More important is what units you can draw in to get a tag in the first place. Iowa has a high point requirement for archery in most units but much lower for guns, being shotgun or muzzleloader. Also keep in mind the configuration for a muzzleloader is extremely open and t is thought as being their long range weapon. Our deer hunts are 5 day semi-guided hunts, upon arrival I will provide you with aerial photos of our properties and road maps of our entire area. A steal at any price a semi-guided to DIY hunt for Whitetail or Mule deer 70%-30% outside of Butte Nebraska on the game rich Niobrara River. (Kids under 17 hunt for ½ price with an adult.) You will be hunting ranch/farm/timber land. These deer have it all so you must think of all options. Find where the feed, find where they bed and you will quickly find a bullet hole behind their shoulder. The agricultural crops are mostly pasture, corn or alfalfa and they bed in the wood lots. These ranches have bucks moving in and out all of the time and since the rifle hunt is during the rut it is like a freeway using the Niobrara River. Find the does and you will find bucks. You are on a 5000 acre ranch what could be better. The first 8 hunters booked get their choice of the first 4 days of the season or the last 4 days of the season so book soon if you have a preference. There is the beauty of being first, but also hunting during the peak of the rut is during the last 4 days of the season. The hunters of the last 4 days also have the option to shoot a turkey for $200 and a doe whitetail for $150. This can only take place after everyone has shot their bucks. A kill rate of 100% on rifle, 80% Muzzleloader, and 35% Archery speaks for itself. Mule deer and whitetail are on separate ranches and in different habitat. This is broken down into 5 different ranches, so have mule deer and some have whitetail. Expect 8 to 10 points in both Mule deer and Whitetail is the norm but a neighbor shot a high 190 muley that Cabela’s wanted. So we won’t promise you that you will be held back to a 10 point. There is lodging and meals with the hunt after you are tired from hunting hundreds, of hundreds of acres.

You have found one of the hidden Mule Deer, (plus there are some big whitetail bucks to shoot if you would rather that than a muley) treasures of SW Nebraska.
