Colorado Whitetail and Mule Deer Hunts Our guided Colorado deer hunts are done along the Arkansas River near Lamar, Colorado. Our property has high populations of whitetails, it's normal to see 15 to 25 deer a day. Bucks are generally in the 120-150 range with bigger ones around. We took a 158" typical Whitetail here in 2009 but in Lamar that's about as big as they get. These You can draw the license most years without a preference point. This hunt is in Game unit 127 but book before applying for any license as there are special hunt codes available. We also have Guided Mule Deer hunts available now in game unit 127 as well. There was a Mule Deer taken that came in just under 200" in 2010 on this ranch. We also have an unguided, trespass fee property that we allow 4 hunters on per season for a reasonable price per hunter. This hunt will allow you to use 2 to 3 exclusive stands for 7 to 9 days, if you're not seeing any Deer we'll move you to a new location. This property is also located in game management unit 127/132. Hunt the famous Iowa one of the leaders for big whitetail bucks. For big deer Soybeans, Corn and alfalfa is important but more so is cover, woodlots. Iowa has a high point requirement for archery in most units but much lower for guns, being shotgun or muzzleloader. We actually have 3 different DISCOUNTED HUNTS here, two Semi-guided. One is near the town of Murray in Calloway County, Kentucky and another near Dresden in Weakly County Tennessee. Our properties are strictly managed for big Whitetail Deer, with high-protein plantings during the entire 200 day antler growing season of the elusive Whitetail Buck. Our Hunting habitat is made up of miles upon miles of Kentucky River bottoms, planted in mixtures of high-protein clovers, soybeans, alfalfa; along with winter wheat and corn late in the year. This is the best buy for a big Canadian whitetail on the market today with a prime hunting area that encompasses 150 square miles. My multiple trips to Canadian provinces have provided me with many details and insight that separated each province. My personal favorite is Saskatchewan. Some of those reasons are that the deer can be baited with alfalfa and oats. The reason this is so important is that non-residents are not allowed to hunt the lush farm land of the southern half of the province. In the northern areas most of what you will see is heavy timber, minimal feed and minimal deer per acre. The baiting is a very good way to concentrate the deer. One is he is as far south as any non-resident can hunt, close to the farm land, and at the first shot the farm land deer make a mass stampede into his timber. This Ontario Canada Outfitter is a complete hunting and fishing outfitter.
